Helicobacter pylori gastritis is a type of inflammation of the stomach lining caused by infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Gold standar is upper endoscopy with biopsy to visualize the stomach lining and obtain tissue samples for analysis

Management

Management of H. pylori gastritis typically includes:

Antibiotic therapy to eradicate H. pylori infection.
Proton pump inhibitors or H2 blockers to reduce stomach acid production.
Lifestyle modifications such as avoiding irritants like NSAIDs and alcohol.
